Subject: The truth about Roswell
Bob:
I must admit to being shocked by your comments about Roswell. So far as I can tell, they seem to be based entirely on comments by Colonels Friend and Coleman. Why in the world would you expect them to have had any knowledge of Roswell? Neither was around in July , 1947. Project Blue Book was not around then. Why would they have had a need to know for such information? I take it neither you nor they are aware of the comments, 20 October ,1969, memo by USAF General Carroll Bolender "Unidentified Flying Objects (UF0)".. This is the memo responsible for the closure of Project Blue Book. Please note carefully these comments:
.."There is still, however,no evidence that Project Blue Book reports have served any intelligence function. Moreover, reports of unidentified flying objects which could affect national security are made in accordance with Janap 146 or Air Force Manual 55-11, and are not part of the Blue Book system......Termination of Project Blue Book would leave no official federal office to receive reports of UFOs. However, as already stated, reports of UFOs which could affect national security would continue to be handled through the standard Air Force Procedures designed for this purpose". Air Force press releases have lied about this since 1969
I located General Bolender years later, and he confirmed that there were separate reporting channels for those reports affecting national security. Dr. J.Allan Hynek got very upset when I gave him a copy of the memo. "We were patsies".
In a luncheon conversation with General Exon in California, he noted to me that he did not have a need to know for everything at WPAFB even when he was base commander in the mid 1960s.
Frankly, Bob, there is an enormous amount of evidence accumulated by us serious researchers clearly indicating that Roswell was an alien craft, that the data was covered up. I would be happy to supply a copy of the Bolender memo, and my book "Crash at Corona". and the 93 minute DVD "Recollections of Roswell" with first hand testimony from more than 25 first hand witnesses, most of whom are now deceased. I should probably note that the one air force "witness" who definitely lied was Sheridan W. Cavitt who falsely claimed to Colonel Weaver that all the wreckage only covered an area 20' square and would easily fit in one vehicle. He waited until Jesse Marcel was deceased so he could not be corrected. The July 9 Roswell Daily record said 200 yards in diameter If that small pile is all there had been, Brazel would have brought it all in and there would have been no reason for Marcel and Cavitt to follow Brazel out to the ranch and spend all night.Brazel would not have worried about his sheep not crossing such a small debris field. Also the notion that Mogul was it is absurd. There was no memory metal on Mogul. There was easily torn foil.. such as was then used on cigarette packages and milk caps.Several real witnesses testified to very strong light weight metal that could be folded over many times, put on a table, and then unfolded on its own without any creases. Foil cannot do that. Somebody has been pulling your leg.
Please provide an address to which I can send relevant evidence and the DVD. and an article I wrote about what was wrong with the MOGUL explanation
